Project Description

Project Brief

One of the highlights of the British Flat racing season, Qipco British Champions Day is firmly established in the calendar since its inception in 2011 and is the culmination of the British Champions Series, which celebrates the top class Group One races held throughout the year.

A hugely popular day with both the racing fraternity and race goers alike, Ascot Racecourse and the team at Great British Racing pull out all the stops to make the meeting special –  which usually means some interesting projects for RTA to bring the vision to life!

Our work at the Qipco British Champions Day

Examples of all our work at the Qipco British Champions Day can be seen in the gallery below. Along with the production and installation of the branding on the face of the grandstands, in the parade ring and as a backdrop to the racing on the racecourse itself, every year we work on a number of special projects to enhance the meeting, from supporting fan zone activity, dressing hospitality suites or certain areas, trophy displays, branding entrances, photo opportunity areas and temporary bars.

We also work with BCS to support the activity around the series, including the parade of the jockey silk flags of all the series winners from the year, production of the paddock pennants displaying all the runners and supply the number cloths and gorgeous union jack winners for the equine stars of the show.
